Searching For Comedy Gold

Shooting begins at the end of May on comedy drama Detectorists; written, directed and starring Mackenzie Crook. Crook plays Andy, a middle aged man in search of buried treasure and partnered up by his equally hobby obsessed mate Lance, played by Emmy nominated actor Toby Jones.

Filmed on location in Suffolk the show is a celebration of the English countryside and the virtues of unflashy, decent small town Britain. Rachael Stirling, Adam Riches, Lucy Benjamin amongst others also join the cast in this co- production with Lola Entertainment
