Broadcast Digital Award Nomination for Detectorists

Just a couple of days after Detectorists received the Scripted Comedy award at this year’s BAFTA Television Awards, the series has been nominated in the Scripted Programme category at the Broadcast Digital Awards.

 

 

BAFTA win for Detectorists

Detectorists won the BAFTA Television Awards for Best Scripted Comedy at last night’s ceremony.  The show written, directed by and starring Mackenzie Crook has already picked up a BAFTA TV Craft Award for Mackenzie’s writing.

 

Best Comedy BAFTA Nomination for Detectorists

Detectorists is among the nominees for Scripted Comedy at the BAFTA Television Awards, it has been announced today. The show written, directed by and starring Mackenzie Crook has already had a number of award nominations including one for Mackenzie’s writing at the BAFTA TV Craft Awards.

The show, which also stars Toby Jones and a host of British acting talent, was a hit with the critics and audience alike launching to the highest ratings for a debut comedy series on BBC Four last autumn. The show was immediately commissioned for a second series, which is currently in production and will air later this year.
